I do the best I can with this blog, but weekly — or, heck, monthly — postings can be difficult to produce. I’d love to bring in a contributor to help share the load.
If you would like to become a contributor to TOAL, please send a resume or CV, and a draft of a post to firstname.lastname@example.org, or provide a link to a piece already published. Drafts should be 500-1500 words long and pertain to academic librarianship in any discipline at any level. No book reviews, please.
Contributors, ideally, would be people interested in blogging, but aren’t ready to manage their own site yet. For established bloggers, I would be willing to work out a talent exchange similar to what I describe below.
After a negative experience I’ve decided to establish a policy for contributing to other blogs or websites.
I’m happy to contribute my time and talents to other ventures, but I must be compensated for it. I will no longer write for other sites without being paid in either money or a reciprocal post. I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine.
Please send any spec posts to email@example.com.
