I do the best I can with this blog, but weekly — or, heck, monthly — postings can be difficult to produce. I’d love to bring in a contributor to help share the load.
If you would like to become a contributor to TOAL, please send a resume or CV, and a draft of a post to email@example.com, or provide a link to a piece already published. Drafts should be 500-1500 words long and pertain to academic librarianship in any discipline at any level. No book reviews, please.
Contributors, ideally, would be people interested in blogging, but aren’t ready to manage their own site yet. For established bloggers, I would be willing to work out a talent exchange similar to what I describe below.
I’m happy to contribute my time and talents to other ventures, but I must be compensated for it. After one negative experience in which I sacrificed my time and efforts for no recompense I will no longer write for other sites without being paid in either money or a reciprocal post. I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis with non-profit library publications given priority.
Please send any spec posts to firstname.lastname@example.org.
